Tracking how your customers engage and interact with your video content allows you to better nurture your customers and understand what content is resonating with your audience at every stage of the buyer's journey. But in the past, it's hasn't been easy to track which videos individual contacts in your CRM are viewing. To make it easier to leverage video as part of your marketing strategy, you can now see video view events on contacts' activity timelines in the CRM. This gives you additional insights on your contacts to better target and personalize their interactions.
How does it work?
Embed a HubSpot Video into your content as describedhere. Whenever a contact views a video, these view events will be recorded in the contact activity timeline in the CRM. Make sure the "Video views" activity is selected as a filter.
Note: A single "view" is defined as a contact viewing a video for more than five seconds.
This is now available to all CMS Hub, Marketing Hub, and Service Hub customers at the Professional and Enterprise tiers.
