Use data to create personalized websites with the CRM Object Field

By leveraging CRM data directly on your website, you can begin to create truly personalized experiences for visitors to your website. In the past, this often meant you would have to duplicate data from your CRM for use on your website. This created extra work, and often lead to incorrect information on your website once data was updated in the CRM.

To make this easier than ever for both marketers and developers, we've launched a new CRM Object CMS module field. This module field allows developers to build modules that pull data directly from different CRM objects.  Marketers can then drag and drop these modules into their pages (or emails) and easily leverage information stored within their CRM in their content.

This module field works for all built-in CRM objects (such as contacts, companies, deals, quotes, tickets and products), as well as custom objects.

Here's how it works.

If you're a developer, you can now add the CRM object field to a module within the design manager or local development.

Developers can then choose which object the field should support, and define the fields marketers have control over within the content editing process.

This module can then be added to pages by marketers, who can update the module based on the different fields and rules developers set up for them.

All of the data is then pulled directly from the CRM Object instances selected, so as data is added and updated in the CRM, the website is updated as well.

This is now available for all Marketing Hub Professional & Enterprise customers, as well as all CMS Hub Professional & Enterprise customers.
