Top Product Updates of January 2026

January brought a wave of product updates to HubSpot, and while some grabbed headlines, others quietly shipped that can seriously change how you work day-to-day. These may not be flashy features, but if you're an admin, wrangle operations, or are a power user, you'll want to know about them. Let's dig into some of the highlights.

1. Form Submissions Now Show Up on Company Records

Finally! You can now see form submissions from all associated contacts directly on the company timeline. No more clicking into individual contact records to piece together what's happening at an account level.

This is huge for account-based teams. When you're evaluating whether a company is engaged, you need the full picture in one place. Now you've got it. Just head to the company record, click the Activity tab, and filter by Form Submissions under Contact Activity.

Availability: Now live for all HubSpot products and tiers.

2. Rule-Based Automated Tracking for Intent Signals

If you're using buyer intent signals, you know the pain of manually managing which companies to track. This update adds simple toggle-based rules so you can automatically start or stop tracking companies based on target account status, lifecycle stage, or segment membership.

The real win here is database hygiene. You can set it to automatically stop tracking when a company becomes a customer (so you're not burning credits on closed accounts) and start tracking when they hit a key lifecycle stage. Set it and forget it.

Availability: Now live for customers with HubSpot credits.

3. Help Desk Recent Searches

A small quality-of-life improvement for service teams: the help desk now shows your three most recent searches directly in the search popover. Click any of them to re-run the search with the same filters.

If you're constantly searching for the same ticket types or using specific filter combinations, this saves a surprising amount of time over the course of a day.

Availability: Now live for Service Hub Professional and Enterprise.

4. Filters in Agent Inbox

The Breeze agent inbox got a major upgrade with comprehensive filtering. You can now filter by execution status (e.g. Success, Error, Needs Approval, Running), request source (e.g. Breeze Studio, Automation, MCP Connector, API, CRM Card), specific agents, and owners.

Before this, busy inboxes were basically a chronological list you had to scroll through. Now you can quickly surface what actually needs your attention, like items requiring approval or executions that errored out. Super admins also get a toggle to switch between their own items and everything across the portal.

Availability: Now live across most HubSpot tiers with access to Breeze agents.

5. Report Viewer Gets Full-Screen Mode and Customizable Display

The report viewer now lets you show or hide settings panels, navigate between reports more easily, and enter full-screen mode. Your display preferences are remembered as you move between reports.

It sounds minor, but if you're presenting data to stakeholders or just want to focus on the visualization without all the chrome around it, full-screen mode is genuinely useful.

Availability: Now live for all HubSpot products and tiers.

6. Custom Views on Reports and Dashboards Lists

As your report library grows, finding the right report becomes a scavenger hunt. Custom views let you create personalized, filtered views of your reports and dashboards using criteria like owner, shared status, date created, last viewed, and tags.

You can pin views as tabs, share them with your team or keep them private, and stop wasting time scrolling through hundreds of reports to find the five you actually use.

Availability: Now live for all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.

7. Drag-and-Drop and Marquee Select in File Manager

You can now bulk select files in the File Manager by dragging your cursor across them (marquee select in grid view) and then drag the whole group into a folder in one motion. In list view, you still need to use checkboxes, but you can drag selected files into folders.

For content teams managing lots of assets, this eliminates a ton of tedious clicking. It's the kind of update that makes you wonder why it wasn't always this way. Note: Marquee select only works in grid view.

Availability: Now live for all hubs and tiers.

8. Import Auto-Detects Date Formatting

"Could not parse date" is one of the most common import errors. Now, when you import data with date properties, HubSpot automatically detects the format based on your file instead of defaulting to portal settings and making you fix it manually.

It supports day/month/year, month/day/year, and year/month/day formats. If your file has inconsistent formatting, you can use find-and-replace to clean it up before importing.

Availability: Now live for all hubs and tiers.

9. Streamlined Association Management in Data Model

Managing object associations just got easier. You can now activate existing associations and create new ones (including with custom objects for Enterprise) directly from the data model view. Deactivated associations are hidden from view, keeping things cleaner.

Navigate to Data Management > Data Model, click Edit Data Model, and use the plus button on any object to add associations or the ellipsis to deactivate them.

10. Export Workflow Enrollments and Action Logs to CSV

You could always export workflow history to a segment, but customers have been asking for CSV exports for ages. Now you can export detailed enrollment and action-level data into a CSV file for analysis in Excel, Google Sheets, or your reporting tools.

This is a big deal for debugging, auditing, and understanding exactly what your automations are doing at scale. From the workflow history view, just click Export and choose enrollments or action logs.

Availability: Now live for Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Data Hub, and Smart CRM at Professional and Enterprise tiers.

11. Business Days Support for Workflow Delays

Workflow delays can now exclude weekends. Enable the new Business Days option, and a 1-day delay on Friday will push the next action to Monday instead of Saturday.

This sounds simple, but it solves a real problem. No more emails landing on weekends when your team isn't around to respond, and no more awkward timing logic to work around calendar days.

Note: This excludes weekends only. It doesn't account for holidays or business hours.

Availability: Now live for Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Data Hub, Smart CRM, and Customer Platform at Professional and Enterprise tiers.

12. Lifecycle Stage Conditional Property Logic

You can now use lifecycle stage as a controlling property for conditional logic. When a contact or company hits a specific stage, you can automatically surface relevant fields and make them required before the record saves.

For example, when a rep moves a contact from Lead to MQL, you can require them to fill in qualification notes or budget range. This enforces data quality at the exact moments it matters, without manual reminders or cleanup later.

Availability: Now live for Starter, Professional, and Enterprise Customer Platform.

13. Enhancements to Property Creation

Creating properties outside of Property Settings just got more powerful. You can now create calculation, rollup, and property sync types from places like the index page or during imports. Plus, you can switch between manual and Breeze-assisted creation depending on what you need.

The bigger picture: you can stay in the zone and create complex properties without navigating away to Settings.

Availability: Now live for all hubs and tiers.

14. View Related Records and Clean Up Associations in Bulk

CRM associations get stale. Contacts change companies, deals shift ownership, imports create bad relationships. Cleaning this up used to require manual updates one by one or developer help.

Now you can select up to 100 records from any index page, click Review Associations, and see all their relationships in a single structured view. From there, you can select and remove incorrect associations in bulk. Filter by association type or label to zero in on what needs fixing.

Availability: Public beta for all HubSpot products and tiers.

15. Set Default Property Values

Admins can now define default values for properties that automatically apply when new records are created. This works across manual entry, workflows, and APIs.

Screenshot 2026-02-02 at 3.45.53 PM.png

If your team constantly enters the same values when creating records, this eliminates that repetitive work and keeps data consistent from the start. It also means you can retire those workflows you built just to initialize property values.

Note: Not currently supported for calculations, rollups, syncs, or file properties.

Availability: Public beta for all hubs and tiers.

This month's updates share a theme: giving admins and ops teams more control over data quality and daily workflows without adding complexity. From business day delays to default property values to bulk association cleanup, these are the kinds of changes that add up to real time savings.
