The Future of Clearbit’s Free Tools

In December, 2023, Clearbit was acquired by HubSpot, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both companies. Since then, the Clearbit team has fully integrated into HubSpot, combining our expertise with the talent and resources of HubSpot. Together, we have been working diligently to enhance our product offerings and to better help our customers grow. A cornerstone of this collaboration is the launch of Breeze Intelligence, which was unveiled at INBOUND 2024. This new tool represents our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring that our customers have access to the best possible solutions.

As part of this transition, some legacy free Clearbit tools will be sunset, paving the way for more advanced and integrated solutions.

Which Clearbit Free Tools Will be Sunset and When?

To ensure a smooth transition for our users, we have outlined a detailed timeline for sunsetting Clearbit tools:

  1. On April 30, 2025, the following will be sunset:
    1. Free Clearbit Platform; 
    2. Clearbit Weekly Visitor Report;
    3. Clearbit TAM Calculator; 
    4. Clearbit Connect;
    5. and the Clearbit Free Slack Integration.
  2. On December 1, 2025, the 
    1. Clearbit Logo API will be sunset. 

These dates are intended to provide time for users to transition to alternative solutions and ensure continuity in their operations.

Hello, 
I am a user of Clearbit Connect Chrome Extension, so would there be any alternative to it? 
I cannot find that email finding ability in breeze AI. Can you assist?

I don't see how Breeze provides a similar tool to the visitor report - how can we access that (for free) in/via Breeze?

  2. There is not an equivalent Chrome plugin to replace Clearbit Connect because HubSpot does not provide contact email addresses. HubSpot does have a Google Chrome extension that provides sales tools - you can see more information about that here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/get-started-with-the-hubspot-sales-chrome-extension

Okay understood, but i was more inclined towards clearbit connect gmail extension. is there anything similar that hubspot would provide? Also would clearbit connect gmail extension would be discontinued too?

The Clearbit Connect Gmail extension is being discontinued on April 30. There is a HubSpot Google Chrome extension that provides integration with sales tools, so you could definitely check that out. Clearbit Connect provided contact information, like contact emails - the HubSpot Google Chrome extension will not do that.

Hi,

 

I am currently using the Clearbit Company and Logo APIs, which allow the retrieval of company data using the company domain for example, and the retrieval of the company logo. Are there any APIs to replace those in HubSpot?

Hi @tseixas_5raise.  I may have a great alternative to Clearbit’s APIs for HubSpot, it might be worth checking out Enrich-CRM. It lets you:

 

Enrich HubSpot accounts & contacts automatically with firmographic data

Pull company details (size, industry, revenue, etc.) just from the domain

Hi @tseixas_5raise - There are not APIs available in HubSpot to replace the Clearbit Company and Logo API. Breeze Intelligence does offer equivalent features within the CRM, but not via API.

Hey@tseixas_5raise , there is a replacement for the Logo API, but it is not a HubSpot product. Logo.dev is Hubspot's reccomended replacement, its a very simple migration and you can read more about it here: https://developers.hubspot.com/changelog/upcoming-sunset-of-clearbits-free-logo-api

Hi - all I use Clearbit for is the company identification tool. I love the layout and the way it works and creating filtered views.

Clearbit Connect provides contact information like email addresses. Can I do the same with HubSpot?

Short answer - no, HubSpot does not provide contact information like email addresses. More detail:

 

Breeze Intelligence can provide a business phone number for companies, but does not provide phone numbers or email addresses for contacts. We are focusing on only enriching contacts that already have email addresses in their contact records.
