What is it? Marketing, Sales, or Service Hub Enterprise users can now sign into HubSpot with a SAML 2.0 single sign-on identity provider, such as Okta or OneLogin.
Why does it matter? As your company grows, you’ll begin to use more and more software solutions to run the day to day operations of your business. Scaling companies demand a secure platform and absolute control over who can access and modify their data --- no matter what software application they are accessing. With HubSpot's new single sign-on support, users can log into HubSpot with their single sign-on provider and take advantage of the security settings, access control and policies that those providers offer, all while using a single set of credentials across applications for convenience.
How does it work? Navigating to your account default settings, you’ll now see the option to setup single sign-on.
HubSpot provides necessary URLs for use with your single sign-on identity provider, which you enter into the provider when creating a new SAML 2.0 application. Once that application is created in your identity provider, you simply enter the necessary URLs and certificate from the provider side, and HubSpot verifies your configuration and sets your account up for single sign on. On your next login attempt, when going to login to that account, you'll see a "Login with SSO" button which allows you to log in using your identity provider.
For detailed instructions on how to set up SSO in your portal, feel free to refer to this knowledge doc.
Who gets it? This update is now live for all Marketing, Sales, or Service Hub Enterprise users.
What language is it in? All languages supported by HubSpot.
