[Now Live] Simpler Payments Settings Organization

What is it?

A revised, simpler organization within payment settings makes finding configuration options easier for HubSpot payments customers.


Why does it matter?
Customers often cite difficulty finding what they need within payments settings due to a lack of clear, obvious labels and language. In addition, Payments has an increasing number of important settings for our customers to manage as we continue to add new and improved functionality. This new organization adds clarity and provides a strong foundation for adding additional settings in the future.
How does it work?

Previously, Payment Settings contained four tabs: Payouts, Guide, Account info, and General. Besides having vague labels, some settings were placed within tabs that did not align with our customer's expectations.
Now, Payment Settings has renamed tabs and organization for Payouts, Guide, Checkout, and Notifications. Options specific to each tab are now consolidated in an intuitive, easy-to-find way. For example, all details related to managing Payouts, including your bank account, are within the same tab. Similarly, all default settings related to the buyer's checkout experience such as collecting billing or shipping information are within the new Checkout tab.
