What is it?
It's now possible to insert payment links when composing emails from Gmail using the Chrome extension.
Why does it matter?
For sellers, email is still most commonly where deals are getting done. As we look to drive the adoption of HubSpot payments across our ecosystem, it was natural to bring payments into the rep's inbox, where reps are naturally working to close deals.
It's quite simple and delightful, really. When composing an email from Gmail, look for the Payments dropdown in the Sales Extension content toolbar and then click to insert the payment link of your choice into the body of the email. Voila!
Note: Today, this is only available for Gmail users. In the future, we'll be adding support for our Outlook-based add-ins.
