Custom code actions in workflows now support Python.
Why does it matter?
Workflows are HubSpot's automation engine, enabling businesses to automate manual tasks in order to save time and create better customer experiences.
With the launch of Operations Hub earlier this year, HubSpot introduced custom code actions, which make workflows exponentially more flexible. With a few lines of code, you can now automate essentially anything, in any system. Using custom code actions, HubSpot customers have implemented complex lead routing, email validation, data enrichment, and more. One customer even automated a lightbulb to flash when a high-value support ticket was opened. The possibilities are endless.
With the addition of Python support, custom code actions are even more approachable for developers of all types and skill levels.
How does it work?
Navigate to an existing custom code action or create a new one. Click the dropdown and select the language you'd like to use, then code away!

Custom code actions are available in Operations Hub Professional.
