What is it? HubSpot Social now supports video publishing to Facebook. All Marketing users can now upload video to Facebook via the HubSpot Social tool. This only works for Facebook.
Why it matters 2017 has been the year of video in social. Facebook has prioritized it. You probably have noticed your news feed dominated by video now. It’s what people want. Video clearly outperforms all other types of content on social and is an amazing story telling device for marketers. Now that people have powerful phones and constant access to WiFi and 4g networks, streaming video is fast and easy. This update eases the work required by marketers to upload video to Facebook. Making it easier for them to add it to campaigns.
How it works You will now see a video play button option when creating a Facebook post. Clicking on this option opens a window that lets you find a video file or simply drag and drop one into the publisher. Once the file is added the video will upload and you can post them to Facebook. The video will post as a native Facebook video.
Who gets it This update is part of the new Social tools and is available to all HubSpot Marketing customers.
