What is it? Users of the HubSpot social tool with many location specific Facebook pages can now see this information within HubSpot, ensuring that their Facebook posts go to the correct page.
Why does it matter? Facebook locations lets you easily create a parent-child relationship between your location specific Facebook pages and your corporate brand page. For example, if you are a retail store, and you have three different locations, each with their own Facebook page, you’ll want to be able to create content specific for those pages, and also your larger corporate brand page.
This is easy to do natively on Facebook, but within HubSpot, we didn’t pull location specific information regarding a page. This led to a situation where multiple Facebook pages could be connected to HubSpot, all with the same name and no way to identify which page corresponds to a specific location. With this update we’ll now incorporate location specific information into the name of your connected Facebook page, so you can easily manage multiple locations for one brand, all within HubSpot.
How does it work? Now, connected Facebook pages that have a value for the Facebook field “name with location” will include location specific information in the account name in parentheses. There is no specific action users need to take for this to work.
Now, when creating posts for an individual location’s page, you’ll be able to easily differentiate one location from another.
Who gets it? This is now available to all Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise users of the social tool.
What language is it in? All languages supported by HubSpot.
