What is it? Now live is the ability to call companies from your HubSpot CRM. Why is it important? With HubSpot, it’s easy to get in touch with a contact in your CRM. But sometimes you want to get in touch with a company, not a contact. For example, a catering delivery service that arrives at a company with a lunch order needs to call the front desk to coordinate the delivery drop-off.
Previously, if you wanted to call a company record but no contacts were associated with the company, there was no way to store a number for solely the company itself. With this new HubSpot feature, company records now have a phone field so you can call the company directly --- making your life that much easier.
How does it work? Go to a company record and see the new “Companies” section within the call options:
Who gets it? This update is available to all HubSpot users (HubSpot Sales Starter recommended for call capacity over 15 minutes).
What language is it in? All languages supported by HubSpot.
