New API Limits Coming Soon

Note: New API limits are now live and available to all HubSpot customers as of June 11 2019 at 10:00 AM EST.

HubSpot is increasing API Limits for all customers. This API limit increase applies to API calls made via HubSpot’s API Key. OAuth integrations will have a new API burst limit of 100 calls per 10 seconds per app per portal.

Today, when you want to scale your API calls to the needs of your business, you have to develop around HubSpot’s limits (40,000 calls per day) with not much room to grow even with our API add-on (160,000 calls per day). On top of working with a low ceiling for your daily limits, you and integrators are forced to work with low bursting limits (10 calls per second).

These API limits were all well and good when HubSpot was young, but we’ve grown -- and so have you. Because of that, we are rolling out new and improved API limits. What exactly does this change mean for you as a HubSpot customer? You’re going to be able to scale and grow your usage of integrations at the same rate that you scale and grow your company.

How it works:

All HubSpot accounts will be automatically updated to the following API Limits structure:

Note: These limit changes do not apply to integrations installed from the app marketplace (which are built on OAuth) - only custom-built integrations that use HubSpot’s API Key.

This update is available in all languages supported by HubSpot.
