Easily leverage HubDB with the new HubDB row field

HubDB lets you create dynamic content based on a a specific dataset within HubSpot. The HubDB table field works great for developers who want to reference an entire HubDB table on their page, but isolating specific rows of that table could get extremely cumbersome. For example, when a marketer uses a custom module containing a HubDB table field they have no control over what row in that table appeared on their pages. At that point, it was up to the developer to make specific custom modules for each use case of that table.

With the new HubDB row field, developers can create custom modules that reference a HubDB table, while marketers can now select exactly what rows from the table they want to display as part of the custom module. That means less work for the developer and more power for the marketer to use their HubDB data in their content.

Here's how it works:

When creating a custom module, you can now add a HubDB row field. Set the HubDB table you would like to pull information from, and then choose which columns should be displayed in the module’s output. From there, you can also customize what information the marketer sees as they select which rows they want for a specific custom module instance.

This is what the marketer would see when they go to edit this module within the content editor.

This is now available to all Marketing Hub Professional & Enterprise customers, as well as all CMS Hub Professional & Enterprise customers.
