[Automated Rollout] New Editing Layout for Ad Campaigns

What is it?

The Ads Campaign editor has been refreshed to utilize a full screen instead of a side panel. We've also enabled additional Bidding Strategies for Google in both campaign creation and editing. The new bidding strategies are Maximize Conversions and Maximize Conversion Value.

Why does it matter?

The full-screen editing functionality will help you easily navigate all your ad sets or ad groups, ads and keywords. Enabling the ability to use maximize conversions or maximize conversion value as bidding strategies in Google will enable you to utilize Smart Bidding, which leverages Google's AI to run your ad campaigns more effectively. More information on these bidding strategies can be found in this Google Help article.

How does it work?

In the HubSpot Ads tool, you can click on any of your campaigns to reach the Campaign Details page. On that page, there is an Edit button in the upper right-hand corner. That will take you to the new full-screen editing experience.

To access the new bidding strategy for your Google Ads campaigns, either in creation or in editing, go to the Budget & Schedule tab.

When you select Maximize Conversions you'll be given the option to set a Target CPA (Cost Per Acquisition). This will help inform Google's Smart Bidding.

When you select Maximize Conversion Value you'll be given the option to set a Target ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). This will help inform Google's Smart Bidding.
