Do you use the Hubspot Calendar for scheduling?

Hello, 

Our team is looking to use some sort of tool to show what emails are scheduled on what days. The main goal is to give the team visibility into when emails are intended to go out, and even confirm that they did go out, so we don't have to send confirmation emails to the team etc. 
We are thinking of using the Calendar tool in Hubspot (under the Productivity tab) to do this. 
Does your team use the Hubspot Calendar for these purposes? If so, how do you use it? Have you encountered any limitations?
If you don't use the calendar tool, what do you use to give the marketing team visibility into email schedules? We were even just thinking of using a simple Excel spreadsheet and hosting it somewhere where everyone can access.

We don't typically use HubSpot for calendar events related to email in this sense.

Our emails are automated based on when each person opts in to the follow-up sequence. Newsletters are sent out at a specific time so we know when it is with that. Since we operate as a marketing firm almost completely of the Google calendar, for rooms, invites, and bookings, that is where we talk about scheduling. There is a big project, we will chat about it in person, via Slack, or draft it out usually through a Google document.

The HubSpot Calendar is the best way to provide your team with visibility into your email schedule.

All emails scheduled in HubSpot will appear as an item in the calendar on the date they are set to be sent out. The same occurs for scheduled blog posts, landing pages, and social posts. You can even schedule content directly from the calendar tool.

Can we restrict access to the Hubspot calendar based on teams? My goal is to create specific campaign based filters under the calendar tool for different users.
