Change payer on quotes with Stripe payments

I'm using quotes with Stripe payments. When I send out a quote and the client selects "checkout" there is no way for them to update the payer info. It only shows the email of the first person on the quote and it greyed out. As far as I can tell, there is no option for them to put in a different email address. I have to edit the quote and add the payer info as the top person on the quote. Does anyone know of a workaround to this? A good portion of the quotes I send are not paid by the person I'm sending them to, it's paid by someone in their accounts payable. I'm not sure why it's set up to not let you change the payer info but it's a major inconvenience.
