multiple outlook accounts can't seperate

SOLVE

I have a question on this point, it might be the same don't know.

I have two HubSpot account for 2 businesses, I can easily switch from one to the other.

For each business I have a different emailaddress that I use and I also want to connect it to Hubspot for when I click the log/track option in Outlook. I have Outlook 365 installed on Windows.

 

The following names are fictive to make it clear:

My HubSpot account JOHN DOE is connected to email JOHNDOE@DOE.COM and everything is going well.

Now I want to connect my account FELIX to my email FELIX@EXAMPLE.COM

When I want account 2 to be connected to that specific emailaddress I get an issue.

 

In the Hubspot Sales app I can see that the JOHN DOE account is connected

When I check the FELIX email account I can see that JOHN DOE account is connected. When selecting the Add-in settings I click Switch HubSpot account

here I can select the FELIX account

When selecting the account I get the following notification:

When selecting to switch, also the JOHN DOE account is switched to the FELIX account.

I can logout out of the FELIX account, and I could make a new account to split them up but according to me this should be possible to have 2 subaccounts on 1 main account and have them split up in Outlook, or am I missing something here?

I have figured a solution for this problem, it's not ideal but it works.

Instead of making 2 accounts under one domain, which makes it easy to switch. I have created 2 seperate accounts, now it's possible to use 2 email accounts for 2 hubspot accounts/projects.

It's not ideal but it works. Email isn't tracked automatically, for every email I click the hubspot sales plugin and I click if I want to log the email and assign a destination of the email.

It seems that the Hubspot Sales app has been updated and I wanted to check this issue again

It seems that this issue is solved, it's now possible to have multiple HS domains under 1 account, I no longer need to switch. Can somebody confirm that they also have this feature?

 

In outlook I can have:

- Different emailaddress connected to 1 HS account with seperate domains

- Different emailaddress with seperate HS account

 

this is a big improvement!

I wanted to share this related thread where @PamCotton addresses this question:

"HubSpot offers multiple inbox connection options. You can connect one single email address to two different HubSpot accounts, but you can also connect two inboxes into one single HubSpot account. At the moment we don't have a feature to switch between accounts. . The best solution is deactivating the sales plugging and using the HubSpot BCC email in the email you would like to track.

 

I would highly recommend you to please post this product suggestion at our ideas forum.
