emails not tracking properly

SOLVE

I am unable to see emails in deals, however you can see emails in your contacts.

Outlook is showing you that my account is not connected to HubSpot, however I am able to see that emails are connecting to contacts.

Anyone else have this problem?

emails not tracking properly

SOLVE

Hi @GFox6,

Are all emails logged to contacts or just some? If you're not using the HubSpot sales extension for Outlook and if Outlook is your main email tool, it's unlikely that all emails are logged. Installing the sales extension would be the first step: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/how-to-install-hubspot-sales

If you're seeing something on a contact record but not a deal record, make sure you're looking at an unfiltered timeline: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/customize-activities-on-a-contact-company-deal-ticket-record...

Generally, "If a call, one-to-one email, meeting, note, task, postal mail, LinkedIn, SMS, or WhatsApp message is first logged on a contact record, it will be automatically associated with the contact’s primary company and the five most recent associated open deals (i.e., deals that are not in closed-won or closed-lost deal stages)." https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/associate-activities-with-records

Hope this helps!
