Significant lag on Outlook desktop app after installing extension

I'm trying to help a client install Outlook Sales Extension to her Outlook account, but it keeps causing her computer to slow down tremendously. The install works when she first does the integration, but over a few hours, she can't type an email without a huge lag in words appearing on her screen. Has anyone ever dealt with this? She's using the latest version of Outlook desktop app on a new Mac.

I have completed an internal evaluation about this topic and I want to be completely open with you. We are currently facing ongoing concerns that have originated from Microsoft's end, which are causing the behavior you have noticed. Please be assured that we are actively working together with Microsoft to address these issues. However, at this moment, we are unable to provide a definitive timeline for when a solution will be implemented.

That being said, a user asked a similar question and I suggested several options. I recommend reviewing the entire thread to try out the options.

Outlook is slow after plugin installation.
