Our Outlook Sales plug-in is not associating emails with associated deals by default. The boxes in the settings below are greyed out.
I can tick to associated with deals manually by using the ribbon interface screenshotted below, but users are generally not doing this which is causing incomplete records.
The tooltip when I try to tick to log to associated deals says to make the change under Email Log and Track settings (see below) but I cannot find the appropriate setting.
Activities are correctly logged to deals etc when sent from Hubspot itself, it's just when using Outlook that the data is not logged correctly. And I'm a bit stuck!
This usually happens when HubSpot’s Outlook Sales add-in is installed but doesn’t have full permissions, or when deal associations are restricted by your HubSpot user permissions or the email integration settings.
I recommend checking your permissions with one of your super admins, if your permissions are well set I might need to check this deeper.
