Outlook Plug-in Disables Discard and Pop-Out Buttons

Hello,

In using the HubSpot Outlook plugin for Outlook for Windows (Desktop), When replying to a message under the "Sent Items" folder, I can no longer see the discard and pop-out buttons. It gets replaced with "Tracked (date/time)" and that entire "Tracked" horizontal bar covers the discard and pop-out buttons. The only way to avoid this issue is to go back to the Inbox and reply that way.

Hey all - CTRL+O is the best way to Pop-Out, but to discard, I used Outlook in my browser - Microsoft Edge (don't judge, too many tabs open in Chrome). Hopefully it works for any browser. You'll have to expand the messages if it is a thread. In my case, I'd gone to my sent folder to "Reply All" to add something to a previous email. Hated having the draft in my Sent folder but the Hubspot bar wouldn't let me discard. Was able to online.

I did just learn that you can press CTRL + O and that will pop out the message.  This is a work around to not being able to access the bar with the pop out message since Hubspot is hiding it.

Yep, that's a good workaround! Thanks for that keyboard shortcut. Yes, sadly this has not been fixed. Also, the number of times I have to keep logging into HubSpot, twice a day, with no fix. Besides this, I really believe the HubSpot products are really good.

I love hubspot also, but I wish they were more proactive with addressing use ability issues.  I do not know why I have to login all of the time when I check the box to remember me...

I completely agree. In this day and age, we all have at least 2 monitors. Is this a known issue for HubSpot? At the very least, a work around would be greatly appreciated

I've seen that it doesn't "disable" it, but rather it hides it.  I still don't have any work arounds except for opening the original email into a window and then replying.  It's a horrible, time wasting, problem.

Yes, I agree with you that's exactly what it does, it hides it. I hope the HubSpot developers can fix this.

Hi Mia,

Take a look at IHorman3's screen grab. It definitely covers the Discard and Pop-Up buttons.

Hi, yes it does, this is incredibly annoying.  This is what it looks like... on the right of the grey bar there should be options "pop out" the email or discard the draft - I use these all the time as I'm sure do many others Screenshot 2024-05-22 v2.png
