Outlook Desktop Add On not showing contact profile when emailing multiple contacts

Situation:
Email is sent to contacts A, B, C and D.

A is already a contact in Hubspot and D is a colleague (marked as 'never log'). When sending the email, a contact profile for D shows up with 'add to crm' greyed out (as expected) but there's no contact profile showing for contacts A, B and C

 

Questions:
1. Does the contact need to be added to Hubspot before their emails can be logged using the Outlook Desktop Add On?

2. Can the add on track multiple contacts at once? If yes, where can I flip between the contact profiles
3. Does the Hubspot Add on register/track contacts that have been CC/BCC-ed?

No. The add-on will log new contacts in the CRM if the "Log" checkbox is ticked. Logging is a separate feature from tracking.

No. All contacts sent the same email (either as TO:, CC:, or BC: ) will receive the same tracking pixel. The add-on will not be able to identify which recipient is opening the email.

3. Does the Hubspot Add on register/track contacts that have been CC/BCC-ed?
Yes. However, see answer to question #2.
