Trying to setup the platform for first time and when trying to reply or send and email from HS, I get the follow error:
Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it.
Remote server returned '550 5.7.708 Service unavailable. Access denied, traffic not accepted from this IP.
So if my understanding is correct, email traffic from Hubspot has been blocked at a IP level? How do I fix this, I assume I need to allow the IP in my exchange settings or something?
The error ‘550 5.7.708 Service unavailable. Access denied, traffic not accepted from this IP’ typically occurs when you send an email message from an IP address that has a low reputation. This issue is more likely to affect new customers, such as those who have a Microsoft 365 trial subscription.
This error can also occur when the tenant is in a trial version or after you pay for a full license, and it is caused by temporarily used IP addresses which are not trusted, therefore get blocked sometimes.
Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:
Check if the IP was blocked by Office 365: If the IP was blocked by Office 365, you can try to delist it. Contact Microsoft Support: If you’re an email admin, and you receive this error during a trial subscription, contact Microsoft Support to request an IP address exception until you assign Exchange Online licenses. Create a support ticket in Office 365 Admin portal: You just need to create a ticket in Office 365 Admin portal of the tenant and support will unblock it. Remember, these steps require administrative access to your Office 365 account. If you don’t have the necessary permissions, you might need to contact your IT department or email administrator for assistance. If the problem persists, I recommend reaching out to HubSpot’s support team as they may be able to provide additional guidance.
The issue was indeed resolved by contacting MSFT Support thru M365 Admin Portal and raising a ticket. It may have been that I was still on a trial version of M365, either way they sorted it.
