(New) Outlook, HubSpot plugin won't stay pinned after closing/reopening

SOLVE

If you pin Hubspot Microsoft 365 add-in for existing and composing emails;  close New Outlook for Windows; re-open New Outlook for Windows, the add-in is no longer pinned. The pinning only seems to last for that session of New Outlook until you close it.

Is this a known issue?

We have the same issue. Unfortunately, it is the way the app is built. There is a post in their ideas forum, and maybe they will get around to fixing this, but for now, it is completely manual. Any time Outlook is closed, you have to re-pin. It doesn't say so in their knowledge base, but this is how it works.

Hey @JM22

Kindly go through this article here it's written here that: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/customize-your-hubspot-sales-office-365-add-in

For an email to successfully log and track, the add-in task pane must be open when you send a logged or tracked email. You can pin this task pane in your inbox so it is always open

"you cannot pin the task pane open in the inbox when accessing your @outlook.com email address on Outlook.com"

Please note though my email address is @outlook.com this is not for me but my company that has the issue which is not @outlook.com email address. Not sure how the above differs from what I was already trying in the New Outlook for Windows.
