Has anyone experienced an issue with the sales extension not logging inbound emails when you select Log this email in the Extension. I used to be able to log an email against a contact company deal or lead. It now allows me to select this but will not actually save this process. Has anyone else had this issue?
I’ve run into that a few times, and it usually happens after either a Chrome update or a HubSpot extension refresh. What helped me was disconnecting and reconnecting the email integration first, then removing and reinstalling the HubSpot Sales extension completely.
If you’re using Outlook or Gmail, also check that the extension has permission to access read and modify emails. Sometimes those get reset. After doing that and clearing cached data for the extension, logging started working again.
If nothing changes, try sending a test email and checking the activity timeline in HubSpot under Filter activity - Sales email. Sometimes the log appears with a delay, or under a different contact if the email address isn’t an exact match.
