In November 2022 Microsoft deprecated the REST API used by HubSpot. I no longer have access to HubSpot in O365 and all emails and contacts no longer sync.
Is there an updated method to link to O365 about to be released by HubSpot? Or is there a workaround like sending every single inbound and outbound email to another mail server so it can be collected by my HbSpot instance?
You say "However, they do have an open-source tool called HubSpot Connect that allows you to sync contacts, emails, and other data between HubSpot and Office 365."
I searched Google for HubSpot Connect and it returns one result, for a user group. Could you possibly provide a link to this tool as it sounds just what I need.
Hi @smbunn, Might at the moment, HubSpot does not have a replacement for the deprecated REST API and is not planning to release one.
However, they do have an open-source tool called HubSpot Connect that allows you to sync contacts, emails, and other data between HubSpot and Office 365. This tool is free and can be used to keep your contacts and emails in sync.
If you don't want to use HubSpot Connect, there are other third-party solutions that allow you to sync your data between Office 365 and HubSpot.
These solutions range from paid services that offer a full sync of all your data to more basic solutions that allow you to sync only certain parts of your data.
As a workaround, you can use a tool like Microsoft Flow to send every inbound and outbound email to another mail server so it can be collected by your HubSpot instance.
This is a less than ideal solution, but it will allow you to keep your contacts and emails in sync.
