How do I fix Office 365 email unable to connect error in HubSpot?

Our Office 365 email disconnected itself this afternoon from our HubSpot inbox. When we try to re-connect, we sign in to the email account then it goes back to HubSpot and briefly flashes a page with an error that says "Sorry. Something about that didn't go right. Please give us a moment to gather our thoughts and then try again." before it closes that page and another error on the HubSpot inbox settings page says "Unable to connect account. Please try again later".

If I delete the channel from the inbox, and then try to add it again from scratch it also fails but at least shows a log with the error: 
"Please reconnect your email account.

com.hubspot.office.exceptions.OfficeUnauthorizedException: No token available for [portalId:*********,inboxId:0,email:*****@**********,inboxType:OUTLOOK365,shared:true]. More details available in OAuthorService-web logs. : No token available for [portalId:*********,inboxId:0,email:*****@**********,inboxType:OUTLOOK365,shared:true]. More details available in OAuthorService-web logs."

We hadn't changed anything on the Office 365 side of things, and in the entra.microsoft.com admin side of things the HubSpot Sales app has the correct permissions as far as we can see.

I'm not sure if this is an issue on the HubSpot or Office 365 side of things, and don't know where to go from here!

@JB28 I wonder if this has resolved itself? The timing makes me think that the recent Cloudflare outage (November 17–18, 2025) may have contributed to the disconnection and connection errors. Cloudflare is used by many SaaS platforms for DNS and API routing, and outages can disrupt OAuth flows and authentication between services like HubSpot and Office365. In my experience, a lot of these kinds of issues can be tied to an outage, and from what I've seen many hiccups related to this outage have now been resolved, but some residual errors may persist for a short time. 

 

Otherwise, the resources from @BérangèreL may help.

Thank you @BérangèreL  and @danmoyle for your help, and yes it just resolved itself overnight so I believe we can safely blame Cloudflare outages! 😆

To start with, here are some resources that I'd recommend you go through, just to make sure that everything is in order:

- Disconnect or reconnect your inbox from HubSpot
- Troubleshoot inbox and calendar connection errors
- Troubleshoot the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in
