Forwarding emails rejected by server

All my emails that are supposed to be forwarded to hubspot are rejected.  I get the following error emails (put xxxxxx instead of my number):

Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it.

Generating server: VI1PR02MB4895.eurprd02.prod.outlook.com
xxxxxx@forward.hubspot.com <mailto:xxxxxx@forward.hubspot.com>
Remote Server returned '550 5.7.520 Access denied, Your organization does not allow external forwarding.

 

I spoke with my provider and they told me this was Hubspot that is rejecting this.  Please help!!

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

It seems that the "access denied" error is generating from VI1PR02MB4895.eurprd02.prod.outlook.com which is an Office 365 server and not a HubSpot server. Therefore, I'd recommend reaching out to your email administrator to see if they can remove this restriction.

Hi,

We had the same issue yesterday and we found the problem in Microsoft 365.

There is a new Spam Protection function in Office 365 that protect your tenent to forward emails outside your organization.

Disable that function by go to following link

And Enable Forwarding. 

 

Now it should work for you.
