Follow up task on sending

Hi,

I have just started at a new company that uses Outlook, coming from one that used Gmail.

I really liked how you could set a follow-up task upon sending an email in Gmail, does this feature exist in Outlook without having to click further into the record? If not, can this be added?

Hi @CSomerville2! Are you using Outlook online or the desktop app?

When you use the Outlook desktop app, there's a Hubspot Sales add-in (Set up the Outlook desktop add-in | Knowledge Base (hubspot.com)) that gives you a view of info in Hubspot associated to the contact you are emailing in Outlook. 

In this preview I'm not emailing anyone yet, but you can see there's a Task section for Tasks in Hubspot associated to the Contact. Unfortunately, even when I did choose to email someone, there were no Tasks and no way to add a new one. Which would be quite handy here. 

So, if this gets closer to your expectation, the next step would be to say something in the Hubspot Ideas Board about being able to create a Hubspot Task from Outlook.
