I have had Hubspot sales for several years (locally on my computer) and mostly use if for email tracking. Recently, an issue surfaced that the application was no longer in Outlook ribbon. Tried to reinstall but then get a message that there is an application problem and to contact the vendor and other times told by the install there is another version of the applicatoin on my system. I've removed nearly all files in my computer which contain the words "Hubspot" and/or "Sidekick" (and certainly no files remain that are an application). I went into the Files/Options section of Outlook and removed Sidekick from an area that showed it as a disabled Option. At a loss for what next to do but find the signal from the email tracking (what used to be Sidekick) to be helpful in where to prioritize focus. HELP greatly appreciated!!
Thank you for all the logs! It seems that there's a problem with the ClickOnce AddIn. Here's an article on Stackoverflow talking about how to clear the cache from that, as it might be the cache that's making the system think that you still have the Hubspot plugin when you don't.
Are you getting any error messages apart from the one to contact the vendor? Also, it's a long shot, but have you tried to completely uninstall Outlook and re-install it? Is it possible that an update within that has happened that now has changed the way it communicates with the HS plugin?
Also, is it only the email logging that you need or the tracking for opens, as well? If it's only the email logging, you can use the BCC email address.

Thank you for your response. I’ll assess the other error messages because I believe there have been others – stated differently but basically saying I have a duplicate Hubspot file. If I do it’s hiding very well after all that I’ve purged.
I’m a bit cautious about an uninstall/reinstall of Outlook. I’m a bit old school so while I have MSFT 365 I don’t think it’s been set up to be a back up to all my emails. I maintain 2 URLs that I believe the profiles only save the emails to my computer. I’m fearful I’d lose a lot of important emails but the Outlook uninstall/reinstall. If there is a way to navigate that issue/concern? If yes, I’m all for giving it a shot.
The sidekick/email tracker actually is valuable to me. I’m pausing on sending some emails to see if I can get this resolved…
Hiya drew, did you get anywhere with this... I'm now having the exact same issue with the exact same log file as yours... Very frustrating! Had no problems for year's either.
Could you please provide us with more context on what is happening? Screenshots of the error and the steps you are following would be really helpful. This way, we can better understand the issue and investigate its cause.
Thank you!
Diana
