Email tracking and picture downloading

Hi,
I just installed the Outlook Sales Extension. On each mail I choose both track email opens and log email to Hubspot. However I don't see any acitivity on my activity feed unless I send the emalis from inside the Hubspot.

In my Outlook desktop application I received an update recently and now on every single mail someone sends me, I need to manually download the pictures the mail might contain.  Previously the pictures were downloaded automatically.

I'm wondering if this is an universal feature so that "all" Outlook users have the picture filter unless manually downloaded. And if so, will this affect the Hubspot email tracking universally aswell?

If so, this propably affects also the marketing email open% as well?

Email tracking and picture downloading

Hi @hokkonen,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

It seems you're encountering two separate issues:

1. You'd like to log & track outgoing emails in the CRM with the help of the HubSpot Outlook add-in, but the emails do not log in your CRM.

Could you please make sure that these technical requirements have been met?

Thank you! I'd also recommend uninstalling the add in and then re-installing it.

2. Manual download of images required after Outlook update. This is most likely not related to the HubSpot add-in. I did a quick Google search and found this: Block or unblock automatic picture downloads in email messages

I hope this helps!

Cheers
