Email not being associated to the 5 most recent deals when sent via Outlook
Hi,
I have the outlook add-in set up and it seems to be creating a contact as expected and/or adding the email chain/thread back and forward with said contact if they already exist from within their Contact page. However, if there is a deal associated to that contact the email does not log/associate to the deal unless I go in and manually associate it to the deal.
Is this a settings issue, or is it how it's meant to work? Ideally I wouldn't need to go and manually associate to a deal if that deal is already existing.
Thank you for all information, HubSpot will create a new contact if the user is using the HubSpot extension and checks "log".
But it is not expected to associate with an existing deal since emails are associated with the contact record, to associate to deal, this would need to be associated manually.
