Email Open Tracking - Not Working

SOLVE
Email open tracking happens bc of pixels in emails, how do I block myself so I do not show up when I open an email I previously sent in Outloook v2302 on Win11 PC or Andorid?

I keep updating IP addresses to block  ... settings >> general >> email >> email extension settings >> manage blocked IP addresses, but this does not block.

Many thanks.

Email Open Tracking - Not Working

SOLVE

Hi @MGruber720,

You can block these self-open notifications for the Outlook add-in by following these steps: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email-tracking/block-self-open-notifications-with-the-hubspot-sales-ou...

Keep in mind that this will only work on the device where you're making this change. If you're opening an email in an Android email client, that client has not received the instructions not pass on the open information. You're making this change for device where you're running the HubSpot sales extension. For other devices, it's not possible to prevent self-opens to be registered.

Hello Karsten, appreciate the insight, thank you. You're suggesting I allow cookies on my Windows 11 PC as opposed to Chrome as I'm using the Hubspot Outlook client, correct? Cookies are enabled as per those settings. Other suggestions?

When I open an email to review prior to a client conversation in Outlook, it still shows as an open, opens are not blocked.

Hi @MGruber720,

You need to follow the steps for the client that you're using when you open the sent folder.

For example, your sending emails from Outlook, you have to follow the steps for Outlook. If you send from Outlook but open the sent folder in another client, the self-open notification cannot be disabled.
