Hi everyone,

When following up with prospects via the HubSpot mobile app, I try to keep messages warm and personal — especially when sending post-meeting emails or text check-ins.

Recently, I started experimenting with light, friendly phrases in my notes and templates. It may sound odd, but I took inspiration from fun island captions to make my tone more inviting — think “Let’s make waves” or “Catch the next open tide.”

It’s a small twist, but it helps me stand out and start conversations on a lighter note — especially in creative or travel-related industries.

Has anyone else played around with more personal or casual phrases in their mobile outreach?

Really love this approach — especially as more of our conversations shift to mobile, tone and warmth make a big difference. As a HubSpot Partner, I’ve seen that the follow-up isn’t just a formality — it’s often where trust actually starts to build, especially when it feels like a real person is on the other end.

 

I’ve encouraged clients to experiment with similar personal touches, especially in industries where brand voice and emotional tone matter (travel, events, lifestyle, creative services, etc.). Even something as simple as swapping “Just checking in” for “Thought I’d drop a note while this is fresh” can get better engagement.

 

Using HubSpot snippets or mobile templates can help keep your messages consistent while still feeling personal, making it way easier to maintain that human touch as you scale.
