Iphone APP problem - Caller ID

Good afternoon everybody. I'm relatively new to the community. I'm having the following issue: When a contact calls, the HubSpot mobile app uses the phone number values ​​from the Phone Number and Mobile Number properties to determine which contact is calling.

 

To display contact information when you receive a call, you must enable Caller ID in your mobile app or device settings. All of this is done, activated and functional. Synchronized contacts, and all settings activated, be it phone, calls, etc. What happens is that when a registered contact calls, the caller ID does not appear. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the application. I checked the name, characters, everything. I even installed it on an Android phone and everything works 100%. Anyone who has had a similar problem? Iphone 12 pro with the latest version of IOS.

Good evening, first of all I want to thank you for your response. However, I have to disagree. Everything written above has already been tested several times, including full installation of the IOS system. I purchased an Android phone to test contacts, connections, etc. and it works 100%. After a lot of searching, I ended up finding information related to this subject in this same group, and I mean, it's not encouraging...

So I wonder if there is anyone who has managed to get Caller ID working on the iPhone? If so, what version of the phone, what version of IOS, what steps did you have to follow? In my case, this functionality is extremely important due to being a Commercial Director. I had recently changed my team's phones and because of this difficulty, I don't know if I'll keep it with an iPhone. In Portugal I have already questioned others and the problem is constant. Does anyone have any way to help? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the details! In this case, I’d recommend trying a few other steps that have helped other users. If those don’t resolve the issue, the best next step would be to contact HubSpot Technical Support (since it’s included in your subscription). They can assist you in real-time and you’ll be able to share screenshots, screen recordings, and any other info to help diagnose the problem.

Could you please follow the steps below and attempt a test call again?

 

  1. Uninstall the mobile app & reinstall it to make sure you have the most up-to-date version.
  2. Ensure the Caller ID settings are switched on when reinstalled.
  3. Remove any spacing from the test contacts number e.g. +353871234567 (explained here) * Caller ID works best if your contacts' phone number values include the + country code and the area code, if applicable and don't include any spaces or parentheses.
