How to find 'unread' notification?

Hi Everyone
I'm a newbie.
I've just installed the Hubspot Mobile App (Android).
As I am new, there are no new items to read or assigned to me, but I still see an 'unread' marker on the top right hand of the app icon - which tells us that there is a new notification.
I am not able to find the 'unread' notification, hence the 'marker' remains - I hope to remove it and thus, I will go into the app only when there is a new unread notication/assignment etc.
Please assist.

hey everyone
i didn't solve it but manage to overcome it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app
the unread notification must have been one of my unresolved setting ... unread guide ... etc
hence, pls don't trouble yourself ya
