Fields containing links are not clickable in mobile app

SOLVE

Hello from a rainy Helsinki!

A client of ours has been facing a weird issue as of late. In their HubSpot we have a single-line text properties which host links to their ERP system. These properties are perfectly working on the desktop app.

However, some users are facing issues on HubSpot mobile app, both on android and iOS. On desktop they can press the links, but sometimes the links are shown as not-clickable/accessible on HubSpot. We have checked and double-checked, that their access rights are in order.

The same issue persists on the deal-object, where the users cannot access links that lead them to their ERP once more.

The weird thing is, that sometimes the link is clickable, but sometimes not. So it is not even consistent.

All normal Mobile app troubleshooting has been done.

Below a picture to better show the problem, a screenshot provided by our clients user:

Thanks for the replies! I contacted HubSpot support and after a week and a half of back-and-forth messaging HubSpot found a reason for this.

It is a limitation in the iOS app of HubSpot. In the Android version everything works just as intended. To add insult to injury, according to HubSpot it is a purposeful limitation.

"User who don't have editing access to the property are not able to click the URL in the mobile app."

@MMaaniemi - I'd suggest contacting HubSpot support. It could be a temporary bug.

Hi MMaaniemi,

Have you asked HubSpot support about this? It could be their internal issue.
