Business Card Scanner - Phone Numbers are not Registering in the App

I had this issue today as well. Spent an hour scanning and confirming phone numbers only to find that they are all missing from the app when i check them later. Is there a trick to making this work?

Hi @kvlschaefer CC @EDise 
I currently face the same issue, did you manage to sort it out?
For contacts that are already in Hubspot, when I want to scan their business card to upload/update info, the phone number is spotted by the scanner but doesn't flow into Hubspot at the end.
I can share with you an example if you need.

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing these details.

 

Currently, the business card scanner can scan phone numbers to the Mobile Phone Field in HubSpot. 

Can you please confirm if you are trying to sync a phone number to the Mobile Phone Field please? If yes, could you please send me a private message with a screenshot from your phone when it shows this phone number is collected and saving this, but then the contact does not end up with these details?

Sorry all good now, I managed to sort it out. The updated property is
"Mobile Phone" and not "Phone".

All good now thanks!

I think its an issue where the phone numbers are not saved if there are any non numerical values in it - would be great to hear if this is the case. I think a line of code could resolve the issue.
