Wordpress site with Stripe plug in - how do we feed sales data in to Hubspot?

SOLVE

We have a wordpress website and are about to install a Stripe plug in. However we use Hubspot for our prospect data and Dynamics for sales - how do we get the data from wordpress and the plugin back in to Hubspot so we can report on ROI and track end to end journeys?

SOLVE

Understood, @AKerr. It looks to me like you probably want to have Stripe and WordPress working together, and pushing to HubSpot. Here's a look at the HubSpot<>Stripe integration, and I think it's meant mostly for using Quotes in HubSpot. It may also involve using Zapier, but that's not something I've personally built. My advice would be to look in the integrations marketplace and explore how these systems all connect and pass data.

hi @danmoyle , we've gone through a large approval process for stripe so will be sticking with that for the time being. Would we need it to be on wordpress if stripe integrates with hubspot and their forms? Thanks, ash

Hi @danmoyle

Thanks for this - we use hubspot forms on our wordpress site yes.

What Stripe plugin is best for this instance? To sit in wordpress but to feed data into Hubspot?

Thanks,

ashleigh

@AKerr cool - for the Stripe integration I'd look at including it wherever makes the most sense in your work flow. I don't know the order of operations you've designed, so it's hard to say.

A quick note since you're using HubSpot forms. Have you tried HubSpot Payments? You can have a payment taken right in your forms. It's pretty dope. So, depending on how your ops is running, I'd look at putting the integration as cose to HubSpot as possible (like using Stripe and Quotes together), or using HS payments, so the data flows there.

@AKerr are you using HubSpot forms? With HubSpot's integrations with WordPress and Stripe, and HubSpot forms, you can make HubSpot your contact data center (hub) and feed info there. Plus don't forget to make sure your WordPress site inccludes the HubSpot tracking code. Also, when you have that tracking code installed, you can even use non-HubSpot forms and collect certain data that way, too. From there's it's using all the analytics tools in HubSpot reporting (this is a link to our reporting course, btw)  to tell your data story.
