Update Contacts, Companies, and Tickets linked data fields from Zapier

I have all of our contacts, companies and tickets created in Hubspot via Zapier.

I want to link the contacts to their company and tickets, and vice versa.

I dont think this is an option that is provided through Zapier, at least not one I can easily find.

Does anyone have any experience with this they can share?

@natsumimori @webdew This post says to create a zapier step with the action "add a Contact to a Deal" but this is not an option through the hubspot zapier connection. Adding contacts to tickets is of higher priority than adding them to deals

Hi @natsumimori yes I work a lot with Zapier and HubSpot. Happy to help.

@MGhasempour the Zapier action to use for this is "create associations"

I can see that your example is a Gmail address so HubSpot cannot automatically create the matching company and do the association for you, for that contact.

You will have to solve the logic to identify which contact, company, deal or tickets are to be associated.

You also must stick to what the HubSpot Schema allows, for example, today a Company can be associated with multiple contacts but a contact can only be associated with one company. 

Collect the HubSpot IDs of the objects, then use those object IDs to create multiple associations to an object using the "create associations" task.
