We have integrated MailChimp with Hubspot as the integration page states and this seemed a no brainer:
"See Mailchimp email activity in HubSpot
Sync Mailchimp email activity including sends, opens, clicks and bounces to existing contacts in your HubSpot CRM. Use that email activity to create lists or enroll contacts in workflows based on those lists."
However, there is no explanation of how this is setup, there is just info on integrating forms and popups. Having looked on the forum I am not even sure this is possible.
Can someone advise:
a. Is it possible to track opens, clicks etc from an email sent through Mailchimp
There is nothing you need to do, but to see the activity you need to make sure the Mailchimp integration is checked in the activity filters in your contacts.
@fannib@RBush You can create a List in Hubspot where you choose "Mailchimp:Open" as filter type. In case of an Active list this would auto-update with fresh email opens/clicks.
I also need help with syncing outgoing emails from Mailchimp with Hubspot.
Scenario: Hubspot account is registered with ID: a@example.com Mailchimp account is registered with ID: 3@abc.com
I have integrated the two.
On my Mailchimp account, I schedule a campaign and send it via a@xyz.com to 5 contacts that weren't added on Hubspot. Will the contacts get created on Hubspot automatically?
Even after adding a contact beforehand and then triggering a campaign via Mailchimp, Hubspot still didn't track the emails.
I have integrated MailChimp with HubSpot. But I can only seem to see tracking information by clicking on each contact an email was sent to one by one. Is it possible to see MailChimp campaigns and track them in HubSpot. Like out of 200 emails sent how many were opened, bounced etc.? Thank you!

Hello, I am no longer seeing the Mailchimp filter options when I try to create a list. Is there a new way to do this? I see them when creating workflows...

The Properties area has recently been updated, and the MailChimp integration no longer seems to be an option. Am I looking in the wrong place? Contacts > Properties.
For you to access the Mailchimp integration you will need to go inside a contact record and click in "filter activity" and filter by "integrations - Mailchimp"
How long does it take for activity to appear? Should it be instantly, or every 15 minutes, or some other period of time? I'm asking as I have turned on that filter but no activity is showing, despite it showing in MailChimp.
I was able to confirm that the initial install will sync Mailchimp campaign activity from the past month.
Could you please provide the example you are looking at? The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.
1) FYI - I confirmed with HubSpot chat support that Mailchimp email campaigns sent before the integration will not appear in Contacts timeline. You would have to import manually to update the contact.
2) I sent a campaign 24 hours ago (with the integration made 15 days ago) and don't see anything appearing in the Contacts timeline either. Is it a question of waiting? How long?
