Syncing over Salesforce Campaign and Campaign Member to Hubspot

I am trying to sync over Salesforce Campaign and Campaign Member Objects over into Hubspot Custom Object sync. The sync is active but it appears that the Salesforce Campaign Names are not showing up with the associated contacts in Hubspot even though when I check Salesforce they are added as campaign members and the campaign associate shows up under the Salesforce Contact.

This help article from hubspot does not answer my question: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/salesforce/set-up-and-use-salesforce-custom-object-sync

Example: I have one instance where it doesn't work and the sync settings in another where it doesnt.

I have tried asking support, but they just keep sending me to the help doc.

Hey @Albert2982001 generally troubleshooting something like this starts with analysing a specific record which didn't sync as expected, chances are the same issue persists across all records so deep diving into one helps find the issue.

One thing I want to confirm is in the second "not syncing" screenshot, are you trying to sync the same objects as screenshot 1?

If so, were the custom object records already associated prior to the SF sync?

One thing I see is in the second screenshot you have "do nothing" in HubSpot, which would mean you've set the sync to not update HS or pass data upon that communication point. Is there a reason why you're expecting this to update HubSpot with those settings?

So support updated with this:

Salesforce contactId & campaignId. This means that currently, it's syncing the Salesforce contact rather than the Salesforce lead.

However the SFDC Campaign Object syncs both Leads and Contacts as Campaign Members in Salesforce, but it seems that Hubspot can not make that same distinction.

Hey Tom, My screenshot is the setup of the SFDC Campaign Object sync in two different instances. In the one that is syncing thats how the sync settings are setup (Right one). In the left screenshot that is a new instance I'm managing and trying to troubleshoot why the Campaign Names are not syncing over to contact in Hubspot.
