Synching contacts from different shopify stores to different business units within the same account

I'm trying to synch contacts from different shopify stores to different BUs - I've looked into two different ways but can't seem to do it. I've connected the Shopify app under one business unit and can synch but then I'm not allowed to add the Shopify integration app to the other business unit as it says the app has already been downloaded but can't see a way to append the app from the first BU to the second - and if I just synch the second shopify store it appends to the original BU and can't see a way to append to a different BU... HELP!

You are trying to install the same store in 2 different business units? Or different stores? I see you mentioned that they are different stores but just to confirm.

I can see on this article "Connect HubSpot and Shopify" that it is indicated that "if the HubSpot app is removed from your Shopify portal, you will not be able to reconnect the previously connected Shopify store to HubSpot with the steps below. Instead, follow the steps in this article to connect the Shopify app.".

Also, I checked for you and at the moment this is not possible. I’ve noticed a similar idea already present in our Ideas Forum: Integrations with business units. To contribute, you can upvote the existing idea and share more details about your specific use case in the comments.

Thank you for your response! We are a group of brands with multiple different stores - so I'm trying to connect each store to it's own business unit to ensure the contacts are listed under the correct business unit. I've been able to link both stores at an account level but it won't let me associate with each business unit so all the contacts are together under one business unit - this doesn't work for us as contacts sign up with each store (brand) separately so the contacts have to be define within Hubspot. Are you saying this isn't possible? What work arounds are there for this?
