We recently had an event where all registrations are done through a single Wix landing page. We had different acquisition channels tracked via different UTMs, and contacts are created/updated in HubSpot via Zapier after they register.
My question is, upon pulling up ONLY contacts that registered, some contacts retained Offline Sources, Integration, Import, and "25200" for the Source, and Drill Down 1 and 2 instead of the acquisition channel they came from. All the other contacts tracked the specific channel except for about 20% of the registrants. We're hoping to attribute them correctly hopefully there is a way since the event is already done, and also find out how to avoid this in the future.
Which source properties are you referring to, the original source or latest source?
Original source will never change it captures the first source of contact creation. The latest source will always show the most recent conversion.
In addition to that using Zapier to pass that information into HubSpot will normally capture newly created contacts as Offline source with a drill-down label of Integration.
