Salesforce integration - changing the label/API name of a mapped field

Hello all,

A requirement has come up to change the label, and if possible - API name of a custom Salesforce field that is mapped to a property in HubSpot. My question is, would changing the label of the field interfere with the sync and would I need to do any follow-up changes in the mapping? Same for changing the API name.

If you were just changing the label, there wouldn't be an impact since the API name would still be the same, as would the ID for most references. However, changing the API name would affect the sync.
