Mailchimp - Hubspot : contactes not being passed

We have leads created on our website, which are passed on to Mailchimp for Marketing activity and we want to then pass them on Hubspot for sales activity. We have added Mailchimp in connected apps but contacts are not passed from Mailchimp to Hubspot, neither existing contacts nor new contacts. What we might be doing wrong?

Hi @KMAKRI7 with the Mailchimp integration, the flow of information looks like this:

Contacts are shared from HubSpot to MailChimp lists, but the contacts in mailchimp are not synced back to HubSpot, only the email activity.

Yes. However, while the native integration may not support this you could look to solutions like Zapier which will allow you to push subscribers from Mailchimp to Hubspot ( https://zapier.com/apps/mailchimp/integrations/hubspot ).

you're welcome @KMAKRI7, yes, the native Mailchimp integration for HubSpot is the same regardless of plans.

You could use Zapier to create additional syncs between the two using pre-built zaps - including syncing contacts back from Mailchimp to Hubspot.

To fully control the integration of the two and how the data flows bi-directionally, you'd need to have a Developer to connect the two via API (mailchimp API docs).
