Link Active list with Marketing event

Hi all, new to HS and I'm trying to link an existing Dynamic list of contacts that is auto-populated from a From to an existing Marketing event so we track who registered.

I don't want to manually upload contacts to the Marketing events.

You can try to install this plugin for linked the contact with marketing Event, that you can see the detail event from contact : https://hubspot.onextdigital.com/ we have build it but need some org to install before move to marketplace, Please try to use and give us feedback

Hi @CCNNZ,

ok, I understand what you mean now.

Unfortunately, I don't think the association works the way you are expecting/hoping. The lists that show up as associated lists are the ones that use this marketing event in their filters. You can't manually associate a list with an event. If you add a filter to your lists, that includes the event, it will show up in the association tab.

Thanks for coming back to me. So the next question, is how to create such list? Do I need to create a custom field in the contact record for each Marketing Event I create?

I've created a Marketing Event to tract the event itself (date, owner, type, etc...). I would like to associate it with the dynamic list that is auto-populated with contacts registering for the event.

When I select "Go to lists", HS displays all the lists but I can't seem to be able to link a list with a marketing event.

could you explain, what you mean by "Marketing Event" in this context?

If I understand correctly, you already have an active list with contacts submitting a specific form. What I don't understand is, what you mean by "linking" those contacts to a "Marketing Event".
