Hubspot meeting planner shows contact first and lastname in lowercase

SOLVE

I've used the "Contact person token" for first and last name in the title of the event. However when the event is scheduled, it shows their first and lastname as lowercase.

How can I make this show up in title case? This looks strange to my contacts, as they get an invite with their name in the title as lowercase.

Is this a bug in Hubspot?

Hubspot meeting planner shows contact first and lastname in lowercase

Hi @ErwinDeMoel this is likely because your contact has typed their name without caps. Unfortunately, there's not a huge amount you can do about that. However, I tend not to have contact names in the titles of meetings as this only benefits me and not the conact. I find it's best to name the meeting something they will recognise and remember such as Discovery Call With (Your Company Name) or something similar.

Hope that helps!

The most likely scenario is the user will have typed it in lowercase.

If you've got Operations Hub, you can update these en mass under Contact > Fix Formatting Issues > Accept:

@Alex_Elborn so interesting - I tend to add both their name and our company name so it's mutually beneficial. As I run a pretty packed calendar, that quick glance at the meeting name can tell me a lot in a few seconds. So interestring how we all operate differently!

@danmoyle it's always interesting to see how others do things! Your method is definitely great for busier diaries but I'm always looking for ways to make things easier for the prospect/customer. Even if it is only small things!
