How does the Wordpress plugin work with Hubspot business units?

Hi all - I'm trying to understand how the Hubspot Wordpress plugin works with Hubspot's business units. We have two business units currently, one of which is using Wordpress for their website. We'd like to install the HS Wordpress plugin on their site, but I'm concerned about all information getting integrated. We would only want to integrate the forms, contacts, etc. for this specific business unit. Is that possible?

Do we have any update on this? How does the Wordpress plugin work with Hubspot business units? Is it still  recommended to install the tracking script through GTM?

If you need more granular control, you might need to consider custom development. HubSpot offers APIs that allow you to programmatically interact with your data. You can use these APIs to filter and map data according to your specific requirements.

The wordpress plugin is not that complicated. It installs the tracking script on the site and gives an iframe into hubspot. Personally speaking I would recommend installing the tracking script through a tag manager or with a GDPR installation and then just use Hubspot in Hubspot.
