Has anyone found a cheap, automated way to get the employee count from the LinkedIn company page into HubSpot. (ZoomInfo is the wrong answer! 😉
I have Marketing Hub Professional, so I cannot use webhooks.
I'd prefer the LinkedIn employee count but if you know of other solutions that have a similar, reliable count, I'd also take it. Unfortunately, I have found HubSpot Intelligence employee counts to be too unreliable. Since the territory mapping is based on employee count, it's an important metric for us.
Thanks for suggesting LinkedHub. It doesn't seem like that is a solution. It's manual (not automated) and copies messages (not account data).
I've been doing some testing with Phantombuster and Integromat, and it seems that I can probably get something together with those solutions. However, it's certainly finicky. I'll post here when I have a solution.
I wasn't able to fully automate this. The best way I found to augment this at scale was to use Mechanical Turk:
* Download a list of all of your companies * Create a HIT job on AWS Mechanical Turk asking people to click on the LinkedIn URL (provided by HubSpot) and to enter the number of employees into a form field * Upload the spreadsheet
For 5,000 companies, it was done in a couple of hours. Cost was $0.01 to the MT worker and $0.01 to AWS.
There are ways to fully automate the MTurk jobs but I never went that route. If you need to operationalize rather than enrich in batch jobs, that's the way I'd go.
Today, we pull the # employees from Slintel, which we purchased in the meantime to solve these and other problems. What's the better option depends on your budget, timeline and situation.
I also tried PhantomBuster and couldn't find a way to make this job work reliably.
